I think my MBA had a huge amount to do with the expectations that our organization has with my position. You need to have a personal feel for clients and connect with families. You also have to understand staff and the business side of managing a $12 million corporation in order to serve the people who need our services the most. I credit both my master’s programs with influencing how I work with people.
The MBA program at Adams State provided me with the skills that I needed in order to contribute to this dynamic and continuously changing environment.
Healthcare delivery is changing, and it’s exciting to be part of the challenges. I’m so grateful to ASU for the opportunity to gain an MBA while working full time.
